Louisa Shepherd is an Entrepreneurial Ecosystem Builder and Brain-Based Leadership Coach who works strategically with entrepreneurs and first-time executives to design meaningful careers, and cultivate a new generation of impact driven leaders. She currently serves as the Director of Collective Impact at Epicenter, the hub for entrepreneurship and innovation in Memphis, Tennessee. At Epicenter, Louisa leads strategic initiatives to measure and evaluate entrepreneurial activity across the city of Memphis and further Epicenter’s mission to create 500 new companies and cultivate 1,000 new entrepreneurs by 2025.
Louisa is a graduate of The New Memphis Institute’s Embark Leadership Training Program, and is member of Nexus Leaders class of 2018. She was recently recognized as one of 20 the most influential young professionals under 30 by the Memphis Flyer. Recently, her talks and workshops include presentations at The University of Memphis, The No-Pay MBA Network, The Mid-South Minority Business Council Continuum, Girls Inc., and Ignite Memphis, a nationally syndicated presentation series. She holds a Bachelor of Music degree from Baylor University, a Master of Music degree from the top-ranked Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music, and a Brain-Based Coaching Certificate from the Neuroleadership Institute, London, UK.
